Pilates and Sedentary Students' Posture Improvement: 10-Minute Break Training to Stay Away from Hunchback and Myopia
Students sit for a long time to study every day, prone to hunchback and head forward tilt, and may aggravate myopia in the long run. Pilates 10-minute micro-training between classes combines posture correction and eyesight protection, no equipment needed, can be carried out in the classroom, helping students improve posture and relieve eye fatigue.
"Standing spinal awakening" is suitable for pre-class warm-up: stand with feet shoulder-width apart, cross hands and raise above the head, stretch the spine upward when inhaling, slowly bend to one side when exhaling, 5 times per side, relieve waist and back stiffness, and look far out of the window (relax eyes) at the same time. "Desk-assisted stretch" is suitable between classes: grasp the edge of the desk with both hands, slowly lean the body back, feel the stretch of the chest and shoulders, hold for 10 seconds, repeat 3 times, improve hunchback; during the process, cooperate with the "20-20-20" eye protection method (look at objects 20 feet away for 20 seconds) to relieve eye fatigue simultaneously.
Training suggestions: Do 1 set of 10-minute training between classes every day, combined with correct sitting posture (a fist distance between the chest and the desk). After 1 month of persistence, students' hunchback is significantly improved, eye fatigue symptoms are reduced, and they are more focused when studying.
